Default Deep water Acro's

I just got rid of the soft corals in my Reef tank other then, a open brain and a candy cane. So i have alot of room on the bottom of the tank. Will deep water Acros do ok down there.

They should be able to handle low light because I killed half of my frag because I have it under my 400MH.

I doubt it was the light. I have deep water acros about half way up my tank under 400's with no problem. I have seen them at J&L right under the lights with no problem. They seem to handle light just like any other acro.

I guess your species could have been different though.

I have one mounted to a rock on the bottom of my tank under 250w MHs that has coloured up FANTASTICALLY since I got it. (From a dull tan/yellow to a velvety turquise sheen over yellow) It was the last one from JL's new & noteworthy deepwater acro special a couple of months ago.

Keri i think you either got an A. multiacuta or A. Suharsoni, not sure if the spelling is correct but those are some of the most common deepwaters at JL
