Default raising pods, anyone doing this?

I need to start 'pod production' to keep my mandarin fat and happy (maybe that will help me control my own weight, the extra work that is!) and i have read a couple different ways of doing it. Essentially i would like a method that is as easiest as possible and fastest to harvest. I have been thinking of either raising them in a bucket and netting them into my display tank every couple of weeks, or growing them in my HOB refugium and letting them just naturally fall into the display tank. Third option is growing them in the 'fuge which has a bunch of LR, then just transferring the LR into the display tank every couple of weeks.Tips, tricks, pictures?

Make a "pod condo" in your tank by putting a plastic colander over some LR rubble at the back the tank so the fish can't get at them until they decide to venture out.
