![]() Just curious, say money was no object, how big of a tank would you get and what equipment, fish etc. would you have?
I think I would have three 8 feet long by 4 feet wide by 2 1/2 feet tall tanks. One for tangs and rabbitfish, lps and softies. One for angels and wrasses. One for puffers and triggers. MH lights all around, tunze power heads/multi controllers, auto top off system and Bubble king skimmers. I would probably also have a 60g cube for smaller fish like blennies/gobies dwarf angels, and a tank for a golden dwarf moray eel.

![]() Such a waste, that tank was a FW
![]() I'd have a 25 000 gallon Shark Reef. it would be build to have a drop off. Basically, rock on one side, stacked up nearly to the top, full of corals. A semi-steep pitch with overhangs to a large area with sand, some rocks and gorgs, suncorals with a black tip reef shark. Basically recreate an actual reef. |

![]() Well, the first thing I would do is move to the coast, maybe North Vancouver. then, I'd get a flow through system that pumps in natural seawater into a 5 million gallon system (well he said unlimited!). My main stock: a bunch of Manta rays. and then a wack load of other fish to keep it interesting.
edit: and yes, i will be charging for dive trips ![]() |

![]() I'd just have a big tank but nothing too HUGE. You don't stay rich by being dumb with your money.... and unlimited is never "unlimited" and if it is then I'd just buy the whole ocean... actually the entire WORLD!

![]() Beachfront property along the GBR. With all that money I (obviously) wouldn't have to work but I would certainly be able to have a modest tank (i dunno... lets say 375 gallons) that had that beautiful seawater pumped directly in and out. I'd capture stuff along the reef that caught my fancy as well.
Imagine... no more water changes... no more dosing... no more shelling out for Australian corals... Thats the dream. |
