Fortunately, I am happy to report that all fish in the tank are accounted for and none has gone missing since the anemone's introduction 5 months ago. What's interesting about this anemone is that they have 2 sets of tentacles. The long orange tentacles catch the food that floats by and then passes the food off to the shorter black tentacles which frees up the long tentacles to catch more food. Meanwhile, the short tentacles pass the food to the anemone's mouth. |
