Default is this stockman standpipe ok?

I didn't have enough room for the durso, so i decided to make a stockman, i am not sure if the outside sleave is long enough. did i get the idea right? how much should i leave between the end of the sleave and the beginning of the hole?

You got the right idea Sean. The hole has to be just above the bottom of your large outside piece. What I did with mine was cut two square pieces out of the inner tube and just left enough on top to glue to and two pieces up and down about a cm wide to support it. Make sense?

hmmmm, kinda but not really I was thinking of startin the
hole(s) right where the outside piece starts to flare out...then leave about 1inch from the bottom of the hole to the end of the outside fitting...is there an optimal distance this should be?
