Default Total Two Part Package vs 2 part "pre-packaged" kits

I'm trying to figure out the how much more cost effective it is to get the "bulk" 2 part versus getting the "pre-packaged" 2 part starter kits (http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/Two-Pa...duct_info.html).

Given the "bulk" packages below, what would be the equivalent number of "pre-packaged" 2 part starter kits?

● One Gallon (7 pounds) of High Purity Anhydrous Calcium Chloride
● One Gallon( 7 pounds) of High Purity Zero Ammonia Magnesium Chloride
● One Gallon (7 pounds) of High purity Soda ash (Sodium Carbonate)
● One Gallon (8 pounds) of High Purity Magnesium Sulfate

thanks

you would get 7-8 gallons of calcium and alkalinity. Like twice as much magnesium.

basically the kits are cost effective if you have low consumption or a small/medium sized tank. Makes things pretty easy but it does cost more.
