Default Can my clown date again?

I had 2 clownfish that hung out together and one got sucked into a powerhead (which is now covered in mesh so it wont happen again).

They are both only a few months old. Can I replace the one that died or will the remaining clown just be violent?

well you sure can but its a bit of work I asked the same thing what you need to do is assume your clown is female and get a clown that is sub dominant that is determined by watching the clowns in a tank at the lfs if it is sub dominant it will either be male or an it and then they will establish a bond in your tank the dominant fish is always female check in the reef forums for the one called clown questions there are some great links to read on the subject and fyi a twelve month old clown is about three quarters of an inch long hope that helps

Had 2 clowns for years then 1 died. Got 2 more (both smaller than original) and all get along fine.
