Default Brown 'green' star polyp

No matter what I do, I can't get my GSP to be GREEN down to the root. Only the tips are green, and the rest are brown.

8-9dkh
470PPM Ca

5 nitrates

800watts light over 140G

lots of flow

All of my corals, mostly LPS with some SPS are really healthy with great polyp extension.

Even the GSP has full polyp extension, and when I bought it, it was totally green.

HELP!

try larger more frequent water changes. If you have just recently done a chemiclean, it will also brown out a little bit of your corals. GOOD LUCK!
