Default wondering if you think my sump will work

I desigend my sump to have a skimmer on the left hand side(DOC 9005), and fuge on the left side with the return pump in the middle. the sump is a 20 gallon tank and im using a quietone 3000, its split 2 ways and i did put a ball valve to reduce it a bit.

do you think this pump is too big for my small sump, im not worried about micro bubbles, just everything else, hahha.

the skimmer and its 2 baffles take up 9", the return pump section takes up 7", and the fuge takes up 8"

the baffles look crocked because of the angle of the picture.

thanks
craig
