![]() So i have a Prism on my 25 /w 10g sump and its loud, finicky and plain sucks.
What would be a good skimmer to replace this one with? i want something quiet that can posssibly fit in my sump, but HOB of sump is good as well, as its a small sump. i am only planning on a couple clowns and maybe something else small and a clean up crew and some small crabs and shrimp so i shouldent have a huge bioload. |

![]() The Deltec MCE300 that just went up in the classifieds would be my top choice for your tank, otherwise AquaC Remoras are ok, and would be my second choice.

![]() Althogh I haven't been overly happy with my Tunze 9010, I have heard/read quite a bit of good about the Nano 9002. I think they are rated for up to aboout 50 gal

![]() I was pretty happy with my cpr bakpak when I had one on my 20 a while ago...
Once you get the prizm dialled down though they're not so bad. I was shockecd with how well my prizm worked when I had it fine tuned to the tank, so much so that I have to defend the low end skimmer when the chance arises. Defnitely at the bottom of a good pile though. That Deltec does look pretty money.... |

![]() The prizm does work but the slightest thing sets it off again and needs constant fiddling, i would prefer something that i only have to adjust every once in a while, not daily.
I have seeen some aqua c's for cheap so i may go with one of them thanks |
