OK, Just got a PH meter from Aqua-Digital. Have a hagen test kit, bvut cant get an accurate reading. The meter says I am 7.6 Lights have been off for 24hrs(To much cyano) How should I bump my PH up, or should I worry? Just lost a new Banggai. Think it was from Stress of shipping etc. he was letharginc from the time I put him in the tank

Have you properly calibrated the pH meter?

My tank pH goes down to 7.7-7.8 at night, and I'm trying to remedy it, but I think short-term while treating dynos that the low pH isn't cause for concern. However, I would immediately re-calibrate that meter just to be sure.

7.95 isn't really "low". Steady pH is more important that proper pH. I'm going to start a kalk drip into my tank to help pH.
