Default Koralia Nano...How noisey?

Thinking of getting this powerhead for my 10 gallon in my room wondering how noisey it is, currently i have aquaclear filters running and they are quiet enough.

I've got one in my 12 gallon aquapod. Its dead silent and is perfect for generating some nice random flow in a small space.

The only time they make noise is when they start up

the only noise complaints on the koralias i ever hear are from people who go to clean the pumps and lose a washer or something small in the process. So just be careful when you're cleaning and keep track of all the parts.

I'm running a k3 in a 33 right now, dead silent. justinl is right on the small washer thing. There is one inside the main body that the impellor rests on and it comes loose when you clean it sometimes, it does make noise then. Took me a while to figure that one out.

I had problems with a K3 for a day or so until I found the fix. It was almost like a grinding sound, yet the pump was spinning properly. I did some research on the net and found that sometimes if you get an air bubble stuck in them, they can be noisy. A properly working Korilla pump should not be noisy.
