I had a curious cat once, too...... Jumped up on the edge of the tank, lost it's balance, and fell into the tank. Moved so fast, though, that the only thing that got wet was it's tail! Never tried that again.....

That's what I'm afraid of! She better never fall in!!!!!! and if she does she better be able to get out fast. One of my worst fears is to wake up and find her drowning in the tank, not able to get out.

Natural selection ... if I woke up to find one of my cats floating face down in my tank they most likely deserved it

I had a cat once who liked to sit on the canopy lid and peer over the edge at my big tiger oscar. One day old Oscar decided he'd had enough of that and hit the canopy lid so hard the cat went sailing into the air with water splashing all over the place. Scared the crap out of me! And as for the cat, it wouldn't go within 10 feet of that tank ever again.
