Default Mixing TMP salt...

I picked up a bucket of TMP salt today, as I have decided to switch from IO. Question is, it says on the container that after it is dissolved, it is ready to be added to the tank. I know most people wait atleast 24 hours, should I still be letting it sit, or is it safe to use straight away?

Thanks for any input!

Jason

Cool, thanks. I remember seeing a poll a while back with everyone doing something different. How do you like the TMP so far, I guess because you havent switched it cant be too bad?

Thanks. I think you are thinking of the Zeo salt. That stuff is pricey, but apparently pretty good. I will give this stuff a shot, it should last me a while!

Just mixed up a batch of KZ RBS the other day. I'll follow up with my impressions over the next couple of weeks.

One really quick comment I have though, the stuff mixes clear in under ten minutes and everything test PERFECT, including potassium.

My RO water is aerated so I never wait 24 hours. I just mix it & use it as soon as it is disolved.

Default salt

Might be Reefers choice too. Same thing, salt is aerated and moving well, so as soon as it is disolved I use it. I also have made the switch from I/O to TMP. Still too early to tell if it is worth the price as yet..No doubt that as far as I/O goes it is still more bang for the buck when it comes to price. At least so far...

I have been using TMP for a year now and always use it as soon as it dissolves in RO/DI water .
I think ZEO manual recommends using salt right away without any aging.

J&L has reefers salt $99.99 for 150gal mix TMP is $79 for 200Gal mix.
