Default Sump pumps

Anyone use big pond pumps or like 1/6 hp pumps in their sumps? are they really loud? looking at an engineered resin 2000 gph fully submersible from rigid, $67.99. It has some screws on the outside but i could replace them with stainless steel?

or any reasonable priced quiet pumps out there with +1500 gph?

That pump isn't designed for salt water or a continuous duty cycle so it would probably fail pretty quickly. When it fails it will dump the oil from the motor housing into your sump.

Very bad.

I use an Ocean Runner 6500 and it is pretty quiet.
