I had one of those for sale a year ago. Biggest fricking fish EVER! I don't know what it is about those things, but they just look so much bigger than they really are (for the record, the one we had was 14").

I dono if River Front Aquariums is still in Calgary or not, but they had red arrowanas there for 10,000 each. And they say SW is more expensive. lol

I may be way off my rocker....but I think they may actually have one for $30K! Nuts. But some fish go for hundreds of thousands in parts of Asia. NUTS.

Have seen these avaiable lately on price lists and they are not cheap, and you never see them small. Personally I think the crosshatch trigger is a better looking fish, and cheaper!
