Wow Sam :!: Exceptional photos and those little critters are sure electric . . . we've got some blue-legged hermits, but the blue is much more subdued. Is that a scallop in the last photo :?: Beauty.

Thanks Rose. In the last pic in the linked gallery, the orange thing is a Tube Anemone.

Thanks. The tube anemone pics need some commentary.

The original tube that it came with was very large and dirty (muddy) so I decided to take the anemone out of its tube and let it rebuild its tube. That's why in the first few pics, the anemone is sitting in a coke bottleneck. During this time, the anemone looked really bad. It shrunk, lost color, and its tentacles started to disintegrate and pieces broke off and floated around the tank (stinging and killing coral tissue as they landed on corals). At one time, I thought it was completely dead and was just about ready to flush it but decided to give it another few days to see if it'll recover. Well, I'm glad I did because it has completely recovered a few weeks later and has built itself a very nice tube. I guess rebuilding the tube from scratch took a tremendous amount of energy and it probably hadn't eaten well at the pet shop to begin with.

You can see in a few middle pics, that the orange color is paler in comparison to the earlier and later pics. This was near the end of the recovery process.
