Default need a hole for a 1" bulk head in my sump

I need to drill a hole in my sump to fit a 1" bulk head. I think I need a 1 3/4" hole can someone tell me where I can get a dit . Our is it best to just get the hole done.

Hi Keven

When you got your dits how much were they in the end did you have to pay
duty on them and how much was shipping?

I purchased a 2" and 2.5" diamond drill dits(bits)
2" 41.90
2.5" 52.90
Shipping including duties etc. total 19.95

Total off c card 114.75 Canadian 10/18/2007

You can also get them from mops.ca, something like $15-20 last time I checked there.

BTW, you're correct in that you need a 1-3/4" hole for a 1" bulkhead. (One caveat: not if you're using schedule-80 bulkheads as they have a thicker wall thickness. But the "regular" bulkheads we normally use are schedule-40.)

I bought my diamond bits from totem...you can get a whole set from 1/4" to 2.5" I believe and they come in a nice case for $90
