Default WTB metric plumbing supplies

Does anyone know where to buy metric plumbing supplies? I need some PVC pipe, elbows to modify a GroTech ZEOvit filter. Can you buy them on line in Canada or the USA?

I wonder if electrical conduit might be measured in metric? It might be worth checking into.

Failing that, is the pipe close to 1" diameter? If so then 1" pieces should be just slightly larger than what you need. Maybe try some copious amount of weldon-16 to seal it up? And then use 1" PVC from there on.

Of if 1" is slightly too small, take a dremel and grind it out a tiny bit until it fits?

I think Jason McK recently went through this for his skimmer, maybe shoot him a PM and ask where he ended up mail-ordering some from.

What about calling around the plumbing supply places? I know it sucks to call them up one by one but ... might still be better than placing a minimum order for mail-order or something like that... What about a place like Norwesco?

Good luck!

Here's a place in Ontario that has it .. http://www.alfaplastics.com/

I can't seem to find much else that seems more promising.
