Thinking of a uv sterilizer.Wondering if a good idea or not.Any comments appeciated

Rob, what makes you think you need one? Algae, parasites, just in case?

i've got a spare unit, and i was thinking on setting it up on my 44g where i'm expeirencing an algae outbreak. it's not hair algae but whats your thoughts?
will it help?

Talked to Brad weekly water changes better then uv sterilizer
