Worth the money?

Is the euro-reed RS-80 a good skimmer for a 46 SPS dominant tank? I'm thinking of getting one befor the new year if it is worth the money.

yup, it would work well.

if you can foresee yourself possibly planning to upgrade, consider the 100 or 135 for the following reasons:
rs100 is 2 inches shorter, almost identical sump space, can handle more
rs 135 is only 2 inches higher, slightly bigger sump space, can handle even more.
But otherwise, the 80 is fine for what you have

It'll work fine if you have the sump room. There's precious little you can fit under a standard 46-gallon bowfront stand.
