Default I think this might be a long shot, but....

Can anyone ID this?
I have 2 of them as Hitch Hikers from my Live Rock.
They're about 1/2" long and oval in shape.
The pics are as close as I could zoom in on them.

My guess is stomatella (if the shell only covers about 1/2 the body)or maybe limpet.Both good

yeah... looks like a stomatella but Ive never seen them that colour.

Yeah... did lots of searching........
Never seen them this colour....
And it doesn't have what I would call a shell.....
It most looks like a black oval beetle underwater to me

We have a beautiful shiney black stomatella in our frag tank, it has doubled in size since we got it. It mows through algae, seems like a great little creature.

Definately a Stomatella Snail.
We have them breeding in our tanks at the store.
