Default LF: Frogspawn

Hey guys, I have some nice and easy zoos in my tank and wanted that wavy movement look in my 12G Nanocube. PM me with what frogspawns or anemones you have with a picture. Thanks

I think that an anemone is not suitable for your 12 gallon tank because they get pretty big.

There are some other corals that look similar to anemones such as torch and long-tentacle plate corals. Even an elegance coral will give nice movement. Xenia and Pom Pom corals gives alot of movement. But before you get any LPS corals make sure they can be sustained in your 12g. Good luck.

You should also post your location.

Anemones do get big, but more importantly, I doubt the water quality would be stable enough or your light powerful enough to keep an anemone healthy in a 12g nano. Anemones really should have MH light, some can survive under less than MH, but T5s or other lights on that small a tank probably wouldn't be enough for the long term.

(my RBTA can get more than 15" in diameter - no joke)

Anthony

Sorry about that, I saw a small anemone at a local reefers place and thought it would be suitable but thanks for the info. I have a 150 watt HQI MH over the nano.
