![]() Just found out the i have a patch of eggs from the 2 clowns in my tank. I like to try and raise them, but don't know where to start.
What to do? any advice suggestions, help would greatly appreciated. here's my tank info: 12 Gal JBJ Nano, 2.5yrs old 2 Clowns and various softies Currently going through aptasia outbreak as well. thanks, Polo.

![]() To raise clownfish fry, you will need to have some tiny live food available, (preferably rotifers). It is very hard to do this in a display tank setting. Usually, need to set up a bare-bottom tank with just the parents so you can do water changes since the frequent feedings make the water dirty. There is a good book on Clownfish by Joyce Wilkerson (sp?) or someone like that.

As Anthony suggested, pickup the following book. It is an invaluable source of information for a first time clownfish breeder. I would suggest to not worry to much about the first batch of eggs. You have a lot of reading and preparing to do first.. ![]() ![]() |
