![]() What are your experiences with lemonpeel angels? I am considering one for my 60gal tank. only tank mates would be a yellowtail damsel and a valentini puffer. possibly a black and white heniochus as well. Mainly, how hardy is it? is it picky with food? etc.

![]() I would ask the LFS if it eats frozen food yet and then prove it by feeding it before you buy it.

![]() I had one for a few years and overall it was a great experience. Mine ate everything offered, didn't pick at any corals, no interest in clams, nothing. Then again it seems like my experience is atypical as others have voiced that they have had angels do the exact opposite.
I found that my fish, and granted it was only one fish, readily acclimated to my system (which was a 29g at the time), socialized well with other tank mates, and overall had lots of personality. My fish either died from badly timed old age, or was a victim of a mysterious symptompless illness that wiped out almost everything in my tank in 2004. |
