Down home - share your diamond
Ha - bet you couldn't guess what this thread might be about.
I was just thinking - and I'm a little bored - that a lot of us don't really know much about different areas of the Provinces or cities that others live in or are from. I think that every place has it's little diamond that is not common knowledge or that the rest of just would not have known about your home town. So I thought it would be interesting if there is something unique or little known about where you live it would be fun to share. Please post pictures if you have them. I know that I have driven the Alaska Highway to Dawson City and the part that goes through the northern Rockies is just jaw dropping beautiful. A little closer to home is the drive between Fort St. John and Hudson Hope ( I will try and post a picture of this in the next couple of weeks once it starts to green up a bit). If you are a motorcycle enthusiast this is supposed to be a great road (according to a show I listened to on CBC) - lots of hills, scenery, wildlife, and sharp corners. Anyway hope others will share.
