photo id needed please

Unsure of what this is or whether it is good or bad. I think it is some kind of sponge though.

I believe they are a type of sponge, I have a lot of them in my reef too. They are easliy pulled off if you don't like them or they become a nuisance. Some of mine turned purple, some greenish and some white. If the stringy parts get too long I just prune them back.
I don't think they are a problem.
