![]() so i'm needing more flow in my tank, at the moment i've got a few small MJ's and a snapper return that's split into 2. i wanna get more and hopefully chaotic flow without breaking the bank...i would love to hear other's experiences or recommendations. how bout a wavebox for instance? would that be a bad idea, i know they take up alot of space but can you put them in a back corner? anyone else have one on a 120g? or what about a pair of 6100's on a controller? better idea? or not, i have no experience with either so i appreciate your ideas

![]() Not sure of the length of your 120 but I have seen wave boxes in action and IIRC they are designed to work best on a 6' tank.
If I were you I would go with the 2 X 6100 on a controller. This also gives you more options to move them around and place them exactly where you want them to give you the effect you are after. Definately get the magnetic holders for them if you decide to go this route as the hanger that come with them are a POS IMO. |

![]() tunze seems to have some pretty shabby instruction manuals but i did understand that you can set 2 pumps (adapter not included) to work on opposite cycles and at 2 different rates...is this correct?
also you have some really good points there Ruth, thanks for that angle.

![]() I've got three seio's in my 48x24x24 120g. a 1500, and two 1100's. My return's only a mag 7. All together that's about 2700gph of powerheads. I haven't bothered with a wave maker, as then I'd have to spend twice as much. I already get awesome water movement as it is anyways.
