Default Mantis review

You know how it really jerks you when a mantis shows up and eats your live stock?
Well, I had the chance to turn the tables on them, and my review of mantis is that they taste best with garlic and crushed peppers. And, at about 50 cents for a plate full on the beach, a very economical snack!

Maybe I'm being petty, but they ate enough of my stuff over the years, I got a good feeling returning the favor!!

Good man Brad. Way to eat their relatives. Did you take any pics of these things fried up? Reading your post made me laugh. Lets hear about your trip!

hehehe lol that is awesome. Ive always wanted to try mantis shrimp meat but I will never sacrafice my own! I do hear it tastes real good and is a popular cantonese dish though.

How much meat do you get off one of these guys? Well put it this way, L maculata (commonly sold as food) is the largest of all mantids. They max out at a whopping 16 inches... that's well over a foot of meaty mantis goodness!
