Sad story about shrimp

I feel so bad...
I herd a constant clicking from my new live rocks well you all know what it is right?
So did I and finally decided to take the rock work appart hopingto get the mantis out and put him in the separate tank.
After dipping my rocks in to the fresh water finnaly figured out wich one has the mantis yeah! But the little bugger would not come out just kept clicking. So i go on line and find that some one flushed it out with a carbonated water..
After 3 bottles of water i found that it wasn't mantis after all... it was poor pistol shrimp and it was already dead (i poked it with the stick and it did not move, then i used twisers to get it out of the deep hole)
