![]() Earlier today my mom had a friend over that had small children. Well one of the kids decided if milk is good for him it's good for fish, nonetheless he poured about a qaurter cup of milk into the tank. Everything seems fine actually I wouldnt have even known unless my mom told. How worried should I be???

![]() Considering milk is mostly water, I would suspect it would have little to no effect on the tank at all.
Not sure how big your tank is, but a quarter cup shouldn't hurt at all. Your skimmer might be busy for the next few hours pulling out extra protiens from the milk, and who knows, maybe you will get a micro-calcium boost? ![]() If you don't notice anything odd by tomorrow, I'd say everything is fine.

![]() Man, all tanks should have a "stay the hell away unless you're just looking" sign on them.

![]() Not that that would stop a little kid. Probably just the opposite!
