Default What's new?

Hi folks it's been a long time since I've been here and I just have to say, everything looks great. I see the TOTM has really taken off and wow the people who's tanks have been featured have amazing tanks.

When I was last here folks were all switching (okay not all but a number) to bare bottom tanks. Are they still the thing or have folks gradually gone back to sand? DSB? I see the skimmed vs skimmerless is still going strong.

Hope everyone is well, things are looking up for me, and I'm looking at a reef in the new year (after my trip to Cancun). I'm thinking a 60 gallon cube or a 54 corner with a 250w HQI for an SPS/Clam tank. If I go with the cube I could make a 30 gallon refugium with the same foot print as the 60 but the corner tank is more limited, but I love them sooooooooo much.... Anyway, nice to be back, nice to see all the old faces and all the new ones too.

Doug

Thanks Tony, nice to be back, this place looks marvelous, you guys (and ladies) should be proud.

Andre, thanks for the links, some really interesting stuff. I like the sulpher denitrator thing, I tried making one from airline tube a couple years ago but it never got wet.
