Steve,
I don't think I would suggest this camera to him though. I'm not to happy with it. It's very pixelly. If you look at the pics I posted they aren't smooth looking.(If that made sence?) It also get worse the further away from the subject you get. Perhaps the higher end models of this camera are better.
