Default Luminarc group buy

OK I have sent an e-mail to Pacific Garden Supply to see what kind of a deal we might be able to get if we put together a group buy on Luminarc reflectors and will post prices and details as soon as I hear back from them. I am going to be ordering 2 of the Luminarc 111 reflectors with the ballast and connections. Here is a link to their home page.

I would like to see if there is any interest in this before I put in too much time so if you could either post here or send me a pm to let me know and also what you are interested in that would be much appreciated.

Depending on the deal, I might be interested in 2 or 3 reflectors.

Ya if it's a decent deal I would be in for 3
I'm going to get 3 Luminarc 3s so if this is a go that is what I'll order

Here is the reply that I got from them
First off, we can definitely ship to Canada, for group orders, we prefer to ship everything to one or two locations, instead of everybody individually, it's easier to make sure everything is right that way.
For the pricing, we have a break at 10+ units (can be L3 or LA3) which is $115 per reflector (down from $130) And another break at 20+, which is $105 per reflector.
I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

If there are enough people interested I guess we could have them drop shipped to someone in Vancouver and either Calgary or Edmonton. LMK if you are interested at these prices. Of course the prices are in US$

Still too rich for my blood for just a reflector, although I am sure they are great. Thanks for checking the group pricing and posting though.

I wonder why the 4 is cheaper than the 3. The 4 is smaller, is that the only difference, and if so why would it be a higher number.....

The Lumanarc 3 reflectors are one of the best, if not the best reflector that has been tested for aquarium applications (see Sanjay Joshi's articles for more info). I wish you the best of luck with this group buy. If I had the room for them, I'd be all over them like white on rice
