![]() Many of you know I have coordinated several events for Canreef over the last few years.
Willow, JasonMcK and I would like to seriously propose a crack at a serious reef keepers club in Vancouver. We'd do serious things (nights with a speaker), and some informal things (dinners with other reefers,\ and group buys)... If you are interested in participating at some level, please let me know by PM or email. I'd like to arrange for us all to get together for dinner so we can start the ball rolling. Things I'd could see us doing annually 6 Group Buys Establish emergency contact phone list - people to call when something goes wrong. 1-2 Educational events - tour a facility, tour the aquarium... 1-2 tank tours 1-2 Store crawl 4 BBQs or Dinners 4 Frag Swaps, garage sales - Like What Jason is Doing... 4 DIY seminars on how to make things from scratch as well as "grill a plumber" type events... Potentially a membership discount card like Vancouver Aquatic Hobbyist Club. I think we can come up with more ideas if we can get more man power and brains together. PM me your email address and I will start an email list. Cheers, Ivy
