White LEDs are made of several colour chips to create the white light effect.
Basically it is colour mixing similar to a paint palet.
I've heard that white LEDs shift in colour to a green or blue depending upon which chip looses output or fades first. Some high end white light fixtures have a computer module which will adjust the chip output levels to correct this shift. This is different than adjusting the chromacity (k temp)

Is there something like this system on this kit??

Also, how does it replicate colour....or does it have a CRI rating??

I'd love to see one up and running sounds really cool!!
