hey guys any one knows if this is any good.? Considering bulbs replacement cost - 100$ ayear for fluorescents and $200 for MH bulbs plus 40% more hydro .... and these LED's lasting 10 years... This could be a good deal ? what say you? http://www.solarisled.com/ |

![]() White LEDs are made of several colour chips to create the white light effect.
Basically it is colour mixing similar to a paint palet. I've heard that white LEDs shift in colour to a green or blue depending upon which chip looses output or fades first. Some high end white light fixtures have a computer module which will adjust the chip output levels to correct this shift. This is different than adjusting the chromacity (k temp) Is there something like this system on this kit?? Also, how does it replicate colour....or does it have a CRI rating?? I'd love to see one up and running sounds really cool!!
