It takes about a year to get fairly low. Then I buy new whenever I'm over in Vancouver. The leftover bit was pretty sludgy this year, I probably should have changed it earlier.

I don't know yet, as I have just recently setup my reactor and have not yet had to replace the media. I'm interested in seeing the results to get an idea when I might expect to have to do so.

I replace mine when the chamber is about 80% empty. Time seems to vary over the years...

Me three. That about works out to between 6 and 12 months for me (give or take).

I voted other because I don't use a feed pump, I know it's time to change the media when I can't get a suction (not enough flow through reactor)
