Default ozone or UV

Well ok i need some major advice, I have been reading up on ozone and UV unit's. Now he is my problem i thought i was reading something about ozone will over time take out the disease's in your tank IE ICK. I have been feeding my tank Garlic for the past 2 days and sick of doing this off and on to drop the spores in my tank, just to wait to do it again in about 3 weeks or less or more.

SO i'm I wasting my time going for a Ozone the Red sea or should i put the money towards the UV unit,
and if I go with a UV what is the better unit and what Wattage should i get ...36W or 40 or 80 w

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.

If you go with UV, the coralive 36w for $199 is a good unit, and cheap replacement bulb, you dont have to replace the sleeve like some units.

Make sure any rubber seals on your skimmer can handle ozone...it eats away at them like candy!
