![]() I have an AquaClear Quick Filter for Powerheads. Does anyone have any opinions on activated carbon? I plan to put carbon in the filter to help with filtration.
Carbon filtration will be used only to supplement my skimmer, and live rock. |

I still remember the time 12 years ago when I bought the Brighouse Pets brand charcoal for my mechanical filter. It wiped out my entire Discus tank (6 med Discus) in 1 day. I bought the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals activated carbon this time. |
