Default Off to Maui on the 16th!

I am leaving my aquarium to go "study" the fish in maui. We leave on the 16th. I will post many pictures when I get back. Also this is to see some fish I might want to throw in my new 73 gallon. I cant wait!

Matt

Hey, I'm thinking of going to Maui. Any suggestions on what to see and do and where? I guess diving and snorkelling is a must.

Hello, I think you posted this on March 9. I saw your pics in the other thread. So I thought I'd use this thread to ask a general question about what I can do in Maui rather than create a new post.

You posted your pictures on March 30:

Oh whoa... I am really really tired. Sorry 'bout that. Well onto the other subject. Where to start? I didnt get to go diving no one in my family wanted to go. Going on a snorkel cruise to Molokini is a must! Also you should check out the Maui Ocean Center. There are some cool aqauariums put together there. If you dont mind crowds check out Black Rock. The most fun I had there was on the fishing charters. Deep sea fishing is great for people who love to fish like me. If sitting and waiting for fish to bite isnt your favorite thing to do, go bottom fishing. After 30 seconds of your hook being on the bottom you have something. I caught a Yellow Margin Moray (it fought like a dogshark). Haleakala is fun for ye olde timely people. Ask anything else and I will try to tell you about it. Also where do you plan on staying?

I went to Maui on Christmas day last year. Probably the best time of my... life, honestly. Matt suggested awesome places to visit/snorkel.. awesome stuff. I have directions to some "hidden" beaches that I will post for you later on.. also this little cove that is absolutely AMAZING for snorkeling. Very shallow water, lots of rock, but a TON of fish... a must see for sure. Maui is basically in my books the best place to vacation. Like paradise!
