Default Using supplements/filter setup

I was wondering about the aragamilk or coralvite etc.(how well does this work) Also buffers (liquid vs powders) for raising then maintaining ph and other water parameters etc.

I know there was a thread on some of this topic but can't find at the moment.

And last I only run a filter floss and have some algea with some aragonite in my sump and about 95 lbs of LR. Should I have other filter media ie: carbon ,etc ?

I use the store brand dry calcium, and it's been working well for me, same with alkalinity. As for carbon, I'd only run it when it's needed.
