Default ro filter change question

I just changed my ro membrane. I increase from a 25 to 60 gpd.

I can hear a noise (hiss) at the flow restrictor. It doesn't seem to be air... but that is what it sounds like. The fitting is tight.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA Rob

I'll try putting more on but it didn't hiss before and the fitting hasn't been moved.

if u change your membrain gpd out put youhave to match the restrictor to the membrains gpd or you can reck your membrain pritty quick.so u would need to track down a 65 gpd restrictorfor the new membrain

I changed the restictor with the membrane. Does water make noise as it passes the restrictor? I sound like water passing though... maybe. I didn't notice it before. It isn't air... at least I don't think so.

Thanx for the responses. The noise isn't that loud... I have to put my ear on the housing to hear it. I think it is that the increased flow is audible.
