Default mushroom multiplying?

what does it look like? i have a shroom that had a long skinny base, and now over the past week, it's stretched out so much that it has detached a little bulb of shroomy fleshyness. is that how they reproduce/split/make new ones?

thanks

I fraged one by cutting it off at its base, and now I have 3 little ones growing in its place When they are attached the new ones just grow out of the base of another one

I used to cut them into quarters with a razor and set them on the rock work in a low flow area. a month later you have 4 mushrooms that you can cut again.

I let my fuzzy do it naturaly once and it made a ring and the ring split into 8 different peices. Those peices fell off and I had a bunch of little ones the next day.

I've never seen mine multiply. I don't think they like to be watched.
