used pumps

Hi, a friend needs a used return pump for his sump. Can anyone help out or have a suggestion of a cheapish/reliable new one??? Also he need a ballast to overdrive no bulbs, am I correct in telling him a workhorse 5 or 7????

Hi,

Not sure if anybody answered your question, but the WH5, WH6 or WH7 will be fine for overdriving. Each ballast will overdrive by 2x (on T8) and 1x (on T12) by default.

As for the pump, Troy had some Little Giants...I am not sure if they are still available but they are good quality pumps that will last.

As for new pumps, well that depends on how big of a pump you want.
