Default Calcium Reactor Setting

I have a Calcium Reactor that I have setup 2 weeks ago. I was wondering what some of the settings for BPM/DPM's and PH/dKH in the reactor that people are using for thier tanks.

Default Calcium Reactor Setting

Hello Sam,

Here are my current parameters:
80dpm
10bpm
Effluent pH 6.98
System pH 8.3 Daytime
System dkH 10

However, it also depends on how much media you store inside the reactor, and how old is the media.

Default Calcium Reactor Setting

Sam,

My Canreef reactor is running at 100 drops per minute (how is that for a scientific measurement), approx 30 bubbles per minute and the tank which has a total volume of almost 300 gallons, is daytime pH of 8.3, and a dkH of 12. Whatever settings you try give them a while to work. When setting up my reactor I left it for 2-3 days before I made adjustments until I found what works.

Scott
