Default Advice needed

I have a Kole Tang that has stopped eating. Today I have noticed that behind the stomach has pinched in and the belly seems to be swollen to the point where you can see two rib like bulges one on either side of the belly. Any ideas what might be wrong? I have had the Kole for close to a year with no problems in the past. Only new addition is some Zoo's and Ricordia, plus some macro algae.

Thanks for any advice

Marcus

Marcus, have you read thru the various Tang FAQ's at wetwebmedia.com? You may find some answers there.

No, thanks for the tip. She is looking better and starting to eat some nori but her colour is still pale.

it would be natural for a herbivore to refuse meat, no?

they are omnivors and will pretty much eat anything once happy with where they are but will always graze looking for algae.
