Default Pacific Northwest theme cold tank...

Has anyone here done this? Some really interesting critters in the tidepools. I was wondering about what species of fish, coral, anemones etc thrive in a tank.

I used to maintain some cold water tanks at the local college. Some really interesting things in there. I understand you need a fishing license for lots of the stuff, and special permits for others.
You'd need an acrylic tank for it's thermal properties, and a really good chiller.

I keep one every summer. They are really cool. All the little blennys and sculpins dart around the tank at feeding time. If you want to spent the money I say go for it. Almost everything you find down there will thrive. If you put crabs in there make sure you have a tight fitting lid or they will crawl out.
