Well my wife and I are off to Vegas on the 27th. We have never been there before, so we need you to be our tour guide.. The name of the game is "Cheap"....... What are the must see atractions that are not going to kill my wallet and leave me without a kidney..
Ive been told that there are lots of coupons floating around everywhere for food. But what are the cant miss things?

Happily getting out of Dodge,
Rob

woohoo free pron!

vegas isnt a city of anything cheap really, least it never is when i go i would say one of the circ show are worth the money, like O or mystere. you have to phone ahead on the monday (i think) first thing in the morning before the show if you want a ticket as they sell out very fast. btw the thing about the buffets is somewhat a myth. they do have them in some of the bigger hotels but they are so busy you basicaly give up waiting in line unless you go at weird hours. even then they arent free, they are around 10 bucks or more a person.

Isn't the "Econo-Vegas" pretty much a thing of the past?

I mean, have a good trip and all, but they seem to have gone upscale in a big way...

20,000 gallon aquarium at the Mirage.

50,000 gallon aquarium at Caesar's Palace.

I enjoyed the Tournament of Kings show at Excalibur. Its a staged jousting match with real horses and "knights" riding on them and knocking each other off until there is 1 winner. Dinner is included with the show.

Free alcohol when you gamble at any casino. Tips will keep bringing the bar waitresses back.

Siegfried and Roy was one of my favorite shows. Sadly, after the accident, they are no longer. There is still Lance Burton but I didn't think it was as good.

AJ, your right... I have however found alot of cheap eats on the internet and alot of 2 for 1 shows ect.. so it should keep us busy. I'm not to big into the gambling but if it means a few free drinks..keep em comming..

I'd tell you about my trip, but what happens in Vegas stays there!

cool, got your Wayne newton tickets yet? Can't go to Vegas with out seeing him.. on a side note I have heard from several friends that you are best off buying your show tickets here as they are hard to get in Vegas at the last minute.
