![]() So I finally got around to picking up some Margarita snails for my tank. Ever since I started, I only had cerith and astrea snails only.
I've had them in my tank for about 2 days. This morning I found one snail on the OUTSIDE of my tank, halfway down the tank wall. Is this normal? ![]() I mean if he wanted to find his way down to the sump, he could of taken the overflow hwy, but instead he choosed to take the dry route. I slowly pryed him off, and put him inside (yes hes okay). |

![]() Yeah, .... it's unfortunately normal, they're intertidal.
You can find them on the other side of the room. At least, when I had them, I would find them at rather large distances from the tank. If they're lucky, you'll find them before they're dried out. I myself don't bother with margarita's any longer ... I prefer trochus and cerith. Eventually their luck will run out.

![]() maybe a euro brace would help or stick the tv in front of the tank so they have something to do while your at work.
