![]() Okay I decided to buy some more expensive fish.
Last week I picked up 2 8 line wrasse and a cresent wrasse. The cresent wrasse acclimated just fine then what straight to the corner of the tank and layed their then I haven't seen it in a week. Then one of the 8 lines started getting some larger white discoloration and raised scales? So I started feeding anti byotics. Kanaplex and focus. 3 days latter the female 8 line know has one starting. And now the foxfaces has something going on. Same kind of look. I am new to the fish world and have just finished lowering nitrates (what a battle) still working on phosphates. So a lot of water changes. Any idea of sick fishes? ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk |

![]() Could be fungus or even a parasite. Did you get them from J&L. Ask Katy for advice. She is quite knowledgeable.
I myself have no idea. My sick fish either get better by themselves or die. I have never been able to cure one. AquaAddict |

![]() really hard to tell from the pictures but I have 2 thoughts.
1 - Something is agressive and biting the fish causing wounds? When you add 3 fish at the same time and they are all the same species they may be fighting for territory. 2 - They have ich or some parasite and its causing them the flash against rock which is hurting their bodies. I'm guessing your fish that hid then dissapeared may be a goner. I've had wrasses not take to acclimation before and the minute they hit the tank they hide never to be seen again... |

![]() I bet it's flukes scoop then out and run prazio pro , super common with wrasse specially wild caught ones to have flukes , I usually do it prophylactic in the tank transfer before adding but it works just as good to qt them and treat with that
Google flukes see if that's what I looks like
